Do you have a natural light studio?
I use strobe lighting but set up in a way that mimics natural light. By placing the lights behind sheer curtains and positioning them to bounce off the walls, I'm able to create that natural light look.
How big is your studio? What does it look like?
The studio is 400 square feet and recently renovated with blonde floors and white walls. It's designed a blank canvas and can be used as a neutral background or I have a selection of backdrops.
Do you use any props?
I try to keep with a minimalist style (with the exceptions of holidays). I have several stuffed animals and neutral looking toys that can be incorporated into the shoot. I have solid colour backdrop such as yellow, red, purple and blue. For personality sessions, I offer the use of a white ball pit with pastel coloured balls. You are also welcome to bring items from home that are meaningful to you.
Do you have a client wardrobe?
I have a small selection of maternity gowns and baby wraps that you are welcome to use for a maternity or newborn session.
